How it works: You become the General Manager of a current NFL roster. Responsibilities include; line-up changes, roster moves, trades, FA signings, draft selections and contract negotiations.
Entry Fee: $20
Champion of the playoffs, and runner up will get paid out 70%/30%
$20 * 20 - 1 (commish) = $380 - $45 (trophy) = $335 total Pot
Winner gets: $235 and the Golden Monkey Trophy for a year.
Loser gets: $100
Year 2 Entry fee = $50, unless agreed upon by all GM's for a different amount.
Just about all League happenings will go through Message Board so make sure you add it to your favorites!
The players from the 12 teams not selected by a human GM will go into the draft pool. The worst team based on total average team fantasy points for the past 2 NFL seasons will get the #1 pick, next worst will get 2nd pick and so on. There will be 5 draft rounds. First 2 rounds will not be Snake. Last 3 rounds will be snake.
All players not selected will enter the waiver pool.
Salary Cap-
*There will be a salary cap! It will be 20% above the average team salary.
Players will be given a starting salary based on their average fantasy performance the past 2 years.
*Teams who are in violation of the cap during the season will have their #2 Yahoo rated player at that moment during the season suspended for 1 week, or until the team falls under the cap.
Rosters-You will start 16 players (8 on Offense, 8 on Defense).
1 QB
2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 FLEX
2 DL
3 LB
2 DB
1 K
You will have 14 Bench spots and 1 IR spot.
*In the offseason, teams may carry up to 40 players without penalty for going over cap, but must cut their roster down to 30 by the final pre-season NFL game.
*You may exceed the Cap during the pre-season up-to 10% over the set cap limit and 40 players.
*Teams cannot drop below 27 players. If a team does drop below 27 players, the 2nd leading fantasy scorer will be suspended for 1 week, or until that team reaches 28 players.
Rookie Draft-Each team will have 3 draft picks for the NFL rookie draft each year- Gm’s must do their homework on those college players entering the NFL.
-the team that finishes with the worst record (tie breaker is least amount of points) get’s the #1 pick in the Entry draft and so on.
Rookie draft is like NFL draft- it is not snaked.
*Rookie Wage scale is listed under player pay scale!
All first round picks will be added to your roster automatically.
You have the option to create your 2nd and/or 3rd round picks for the upcoming season OR you can hold them as PROSPECTS.
*Holding a 2nd, or 3rd round pick as a prospect means that player will not be eligible to gain stats for the up-coming season. BUT player's rights remain with your team. Rookie contract will not go into effect until player is added to roster.
*Each team may keep their draft picks on their prospect list for 2 seasons MAX. After 2 seasons you will have to add that player to your roster or release them to FA.
*For First season
*2012 drafted players will be set by 2012 fantasy points divided by 2. And given a 1 year contract. They are listed in Blue on the rosters page.
*2013 Drafted players- only 5 rounds of players have been added to each team. All first rounder’s will be created. 2nd-5th round picks have been added to your prospect list. 2013 added draft picks are listed in Purple. Un-created prospects are listed on prospect page in Green.
Contracts:
*Any player released that has years remaining on his contract will be a 50% cap hit from his total contract.
-You may choose to take that entire cap hit the next season- or spread it out evenly throughout the remaining years of the player’s contract.
For example-
Colts sign Michael Turner for 4 years 2,000,000
I then drop him next season because he retired- he still has 3 years and a total of $6,000,000 owed to him. 50% of $6 mil = 3mil.
I can take that $3mil cap hit for the 2014 season- or take a $1 mil hit for 2014, 2015, and 2016.
This will go for all players, including players you re-sign starting next off season.
So if you have any players that got crappy contract lengths- you may want to think about releasing them this offseason when you will have no penalty.
*If you cut a player mid-season, the contract will count at 50% the total contract against the cap for the remainder of the season.
-Example- Marshawn Lynch is making 3,000,000. I release him mid season to get under the cap, or to add a FA- I still would have 1.5 mil of his salary count against my total cap for the rest of the season. The cap hit would expire at the end of the year.
To prevent everyone from offering 4 years deals to all players, then releasing them the next off season we are putting in place a salary cap hit for players released that still have years left on their contract.
Re-Signings-
When a player has 1 year remaining on his contract and the season ends- that player’s contract will expire.
Teams will be given 3 chances at re-signing their own players. You must post your offers on the message board during the FA signing period.
When posting your offers to your players with 1 year remaining on their current contract, please create a new thread with your team name.

Please note you must offer within the allotted player wage scale for Each Position. -
Player Wage Scale.
-If you offer one spot over player’s pay scale you will have a 8/10 chance of your player re-signing. (1-8 is rolled, player accepts offer)
-If you offer within the player’s pay scale you will have a 7/10 shot at re-signing.(1-7 is rolled, player accepts offer)
-If you over 1 below- you will have 5/10 shot. (1-5 is rolled, player accepts offer)
-2 below- 4/10 shot. (1-4 is rolled, player accepts offer)
-3 below- 1/10 shot. (1 is rolled, player accepts offer)
*If a 10 is ever rolled- the player will demand to enter free agency. You may still bid on that player during the FA period, but all other teams will be able to bid on him as well.
*If a 10 is rolled, or you use all 3 rolls and a player declines to sign- that team may still trade that player. If player is traded then the new team will have 1 attempt at signing the player. If they fail, Player will go to FA.
*Highest point total each week will earn a free pay scale drop.
ex: Patriots have 2 high scores from the 2013 season- they can use those 2 pay drops to re-sign Brady for 2 pay scales lower, and have the same 7/10 shot to re-sign.
Weekly High Score
For each team that records the high score for each fantasy week- you will be rewarded with 1 pay scale drop for the off season when it comes to re-signing your players.
For example-
Colts score the highest point total twice in the 2013 fantasy season (not including playoffs)
Andrew Luck has 350+ fantasy points for his past 2 seasons which = $10,000,000 salary on the pay chart or a 7/10 chance of re-signing.
I can use my 2 free pay scale drops to offer Luck $8,000,000 per season and it will still give me a 7/10 chance at re-signing him.
Or you can split it up and use 1 drop for 2 different players.
You can also combine it to try and offer even lower.
I take a chance and try to sign Luck 2 spots below his pay slot (4/10 chance) and on top of that I use my additional 2 drops.
I could offer Luck $6,000,000 and still have a 4/10 shot at him accepting.

Waivers will be processed Tuesday- Saturday; there will be a 1 day waiver period.
In-season transactions will happen through the Yahoo site like a regular fantasy league.
*If you are claiming a player in-season, you must also drop a current roster player.
*Note that the player you drop will continue to have a salary hit of 50% of his salary against your cap for the remainder of the season.
*You will not be able to claim a player off waivers if it will put you over the cap.
*All players added in season will be given 1 year contracts worth $250,000.
Playoffs-
